Awakening ~ I learned my place in the world here.  My tiny existence.

How I fit in.  All part of the one.

I learned how the world touched me and how I experienced that touch.

I learned to leave no trace,

that bears are stronger and better equipped to keep stolen food.

You are entering the wilderness and should not to expect to be rescued.

But that was long ago.  There is an ancient endless feel here.

Spirits rest and sleep.  There is acceptance.

The mountains say come and wander my fields, wade in my waters, climb my peaks.

Exhaust yourself.  But don’t be careless.

My wild spirit runs free.
